| During my Fulbright grant, I will synthesize and characterize d- & f-block complexes from phenol-based Schiff bases, determine structure-property relationships, study their DNA binding properties, and gain valuable experience in the handling of an X-ray diffractometer. This research has implications for the development of applications as therapeutic agents and electrochemical biosensors. | |
